I have been surprised by the ongoing press attention and possibly my own curiosity.  The New York Times explains the fascination with a decent perspective (here). My favorite bit:

Ms. Tolokonnikova and Mr. Verzilov’s 4-year-old daughter has been making plans to bust her mother out of jail. “She draws diagrams showing how we can go about doing this with bulldozers and buses, first by tearing down the prison walls and then by breaking open the cage,” he told the German publication Der Spiegel.

Russian police pursuing other members of Pussy Riot:

MOSCOW, Aug 20 (Reuters) – Russian police are searching for more members of the Pussy Riot punk rock band, a spokeswoman said, signalling further pressure on the group despite an international outcry over jail terms for three women who protested in a church against Vladimir Putin.
